Dashboard
Gender inequalities persist in all areas of politics, society, and economics. Closing these gaps is an important priority for all G7 members. To achieve this goal, the G7 agreed on a new monitoring mechanism at the Summit in Elmau. The G7 Dashboard on Gender Gaps provides accurate and timely data to help address gender inequities.

Gender equality is a fundamental prerequisite for resilient, inclusive democratic societies. Nevertheless, gender inequalities remain present in all areas of social and economic life. All G7 members have recognized the importance of closing these gender gaps—but achieving the goal of gender equality is difficult without timely and accurate data. At the 2022 Summit in Elmau, the G7 committed to a new monitoring mechanism and established a G7 Dashboard on Gender Gaps—thus implementing a recommendation of the G7 Gender Equality Advisory Council and Women7. The Dashboard includes key indicators across a range of policy areas that are relevant to the progression of gender equality. It will be updated annually by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The Dashboard provides an vital new tool to support the G7’s commitment to achieving gender equality and to continuously monitor progress.
