Chronology

The first G7 GEAC was convened in 2018 by the then Canadian G7 Presidency. Since then, this advisory council has also been convened in 2019 under the French G7 Presidency and in 2021 under the British G7 Presidency. During Germany’s G7 Presidency in 2022, Chancellor Olaf Scholz convened the current advisory council.
